A call from mum: “ Cecilia, I am at D’s place. Can u come down so that he can choose a delivery date”.
I said: “OK, mum. I finish @ 6PM. I will come over right after work.”
Mum: “ so late ah. Take 1hr time-off lah. Tell your boss, ok?”

Well, boss is ok, so by 5PM I was in the cab. So exp!
From Park Mall to Orchard tower the cab fare is $4.60 + $4.60 = $9.20.

Anyway, I reached D’s hop in merely 6 mins but mum & mummy r not there.
They went to the ladies & then to the ex supermarket “ Jason” for shopping.
D was busy selling diamonds to those TaiTai’s.
So I waited & waited.

Finally they r back, but it is not yet the right time for D to “see” the time yet.
So v chatted & D shows my mum a jade necklace.
It is really nice & my mum looks great with it around her neck.
The price is lovely too: 3k.
Know that she is a very simple lady & never spurn on exp stuff.
I can tell my mum loves it.

All right, I bought it for her. D gave her & me & my mum-in-law 3 pair of jade ear ring ( FOC).
So mummy, it is going to be ur b’day pres, so no more LV bags (which I plan to buy for her for her bday. Well I can ask daddy to do that)

Well, I can buy a Chanel bag with the $ but my mummy’s smile is more worthy.
She looks so elegant & beautiful with the necklace.

Well back to the date, finally @704, D’s feeling is there.
But is like 11/07 – though my EDD is 15/07, I have a history of deliver the BB ealier.
So I asked “ any backup date, cos I think it will be ealier”.
“ No, that’s the date. If it is not a c-section, u will have contraction on the 12th. It is the date”.

I wonder what my gynae will say abt the date.

Anyway again, he warned me to take good care of myself during my confinement because he can see that I have a lot of hidden health problem:
my lower back bone is not in a very good state (true lah))
not enough blood ( true lah)
weak liver ( because of my yellow skin tone,???)
leg camp ( could lead to stroke,???)
Plus I was born in the year of Tiger & it is not a good year for me = “ Fan Tai Sui”.

I totally agree women should take good care of themselves their confinement: eat well, rest well & keep warm. The whole pregnancy & delivery are tough. The mummies deserve “ empress treatment” & the husbands have the obligation to materialize it. Right?

It's the kids' school holiday. They brought back their school work.
wahh! looking at the exercise sheets & writings, i find the kids are learning much more at a much earlier age. I don't think i did any of the above before Primary School. so everyday, i will spend about 1hr to revise all the work with the kids ( totally 3 of them). it is not easy. a lot, lot lot of patience.

Celeste - Good at drawing, art works. she writes very well & controls the pencil very well. She can write all the alphabets from A-Z & all the numbers. she needs a lot of revision before she can remember the knowledge. but she's got it. she won't lose it anymore.

Mark - Very fast learner & has excellent memory. very observing. better pronunciation, but it seems that he's got no gene in arts. He can't write well & always give up very quickly.

Paul - Still young & playful. he likes to " swallow" his last sound or words - lazy talker. However he can count from 1-10 on his own by looking at the fingers. talks with good grammar: " a fish", " a car", etc....
